Hi Amy,
Great question! I've found baggy jeans pair well with sandals almost always and sometimes flats.
In my Shortie experience, it's challenging to offset the slouchiness of baggy jeans, not only with footwear but even with tops. When skin-bearing tops are an option in warmer weather, I reach for my minimalist top and sandals like flip-flops. In cooler weather, I gravitate towards looser, cropped tops and flats.
I currently don’t have a pair of flip-flops. After slipping and sliding, I had to toss my last pair – they were so sketchy! But I've been craving another pair since I saw them all over the street-style shots from Copenhagen Fashion Week.
In my search for stable and comfortable flip-flops, I came across Archies. These arch-supporting flip-flops will supposedly mold to your feet in the first couple of wears. As if that wasn’t enough, the soles are quite thick, giving the wearer a boost in height. I’m def adding these to my wish list!
